Bringing a little slice of Parisian cafe culture to the Tweed Coast, Baked at Ancora was inspired by our love for the humble French croissant. Flaky, buttery, crispy and golden, it’s a delicate process to create the perfect Parisian croissant – but rest assured, it’s one we take seriously.
Inside our Tweed Heads cafe and waterside bakery (adjoining sister space Ancora Weddings), you’ll find our signature croissants baked with love using local ingredients, in a dedicated pastry room designed to replicate the exact European temperatures of its origin. From traditional classics like pain-au-chocolat to more unique and inventive flavour combos, we’re serving up the best Parisian pastries this side of the equator.

Pastry lovers; rejoice – we’ve rolled all of your favourite things into one delicious location, with our new Tweed Heads bakery offering both sweet and savoury treats, artisan breads, baguettes and a mouth-watering selection of authentic patisserie classics baked daily by our team. Our passionate pastry chefs are constantly dreaming up new Baked inventions for you to enjoy – best washed down with a caffeine hit from our specialty Ground Control blend, for the ultimate match made in heaven.

Our philosophy is simple: bringing loved ones together over good food and great coffee. With bunches of fresh blooms from pop-up caravan Flower & Water, cold pressed juices, gluten-free options, rustic French interiors, relaxed picnic vibes and a full cafe menu launching in Feb, we’ve got your next cheeky brunch date (or cheat day indulgence) sorted.
